The 8 Flavor

 Sooooooo, Windows 8 Is NOTHING like windows 7, at least not at first, I get so confused....cant find the back button....cant figure out how to go from the app page to the normal page.....BUT, I AM figuring it out bit by bit!! I spent most of the day just staring at the screen trying to figure out how to get to something I could recognize! Then I tried to use my printer as a fax....THAT apparently needs a phone connection.....I guess I should have gotten more sleep last night...I tried! Now all that said, this computer is REALLY fast!! no hangups, no lagging, I am soooooooo happy with it so far!! 
          In other news....more flavor, I am trying to rescue a puppy, I normally wouldn't go there, BUT I fell in love with this one as soon as I saw him.....he is such a bear!! so cute! just what I needed right? but my German Shepard needs a play pal, and this one looks like he will fit the bill!
      Now for the news about the big bang theory, no one is really talking about it, but like my son said, it is such a huge discovery, but I think that most people are science shy, and that's ok, but it sure gets my blood racing! how strange to think that maybe there is another "ME" out there somewhere.....I wonder "who" I am in that world, if it exsists...... There is a Movie called "Another Earth" on Netflix if anyone would like to see it, it was a pretty good movie! but more a chick flick than not. Well, that's it for this Dark quiet night, I will find a way to fill it, there is never enough time! even for a Vamp!

NEW BLOOD!

AHHHHH, Tonight it will be hard to sleep fellow vamps! I got a new computer (Tower) Major SWEETness here....It has 6 YES SIX processers!! and 10 GB of memmory upgradable to 36? I think....and 1.5 Terabytes. I remember the day my brother told me I would NEVER use up 1 whole gigabyte! Funny how time changes things. I decided to wait until tomorrow to put her onboard....and its going to really "Get My Goat", it always does....I try to remember all the little things to back up or write down.....and then BLAMO! You have to preform magic tricks to get something installed, or REinstalled....I know its going to be a test of my patience, but I have done it so often I could open my own computer set up business! I can even install video and sound cards! and hard drives, and dvd drives! I mean the works! But then again...I AM a vampire....we tend to find things to learn in the wee hours of the night whilst everyone else is sleeping yeah? I keep getting more apps for my IPAD, I need more like a hole in the head!! I got alot more acomplished today, and am feeling pretty spunky, I think my sleeping pills are keeping me dopey longer than I need to be...so I have cut WAY back, what the heck! I am always up late even when I TAKE the pills. Ok, I got some things to wrap up before the big switch, but I shall return on the morrow, maybe with a different flavor of blood!! Vampire- OUT

Its Been A Bloodless Day....

Hey there Owl You alllll nighters, This one wont be very long.   Its been cold, and damp, and believe it or not......All I want to do is sleep! YES! sleep. My least favorite NON-activity. I didnt create anything today, although I DID put together a bookcase for my Re- Organization project, AND I did make the Hubs a great dinner of baby backs, I still feel like it was a uneventful day. No brainstorms, no ah-ha moments.  OH but if you haven't watched "Monday Mornings" (on at night on Mondays) It really is a great look into mistakes that doctors make, but also the great things they are capeable of! Last night was a 4 0'clocker, had some beezar dreams about grasshoppers, which turns out to be a good omen! lets hope so, yeah?! 
      Well, thats it for the night....UNLESS i have an epiphony or something....I dont feel one coming on either, but I WILL be back on the morrow! Have an enjoyable night, if you cant sleep, make it work for you! I do!

To Bleed, Or Not To Bleed......

Well, I gave this some thought for tonight....There are classes I would LOVE to take online, and places I would LOVE to shop online, I dont even know if anyone actually reads this stuff, but I read in an e-mail that artist have a hard time "Pricing" their work or "marketing" it because an artist is a right brainer, and a market-er is a Left brainer. It TOTALLY makes sense, yeah? I cant see buying a roll of tape online for 3 bucks, and shipping costs 10 bucks....PEOPLE! My right brain perception cant understand your Left brain language!! I Can't afford to take some classes, unless I can pay you a monthly fee, I mean not everyone has 200 dollars they can hand over if they want to keep the lights and water turned on. right? But I Know that even some artists USE that money to KEEP their own lights on. Now the other thing with the shipping charges? THAT is just insane.....I know something that weighs 2 ounces costs more than one oz. but really? There are places that offer flat rates if the object is oversized.... Soooooo what makes some folks BLEED for the ones that charge so much? WANT. Only if you wait long enough 3/4 of the time you forget all about it, OR you will find the same thing with FREE shipping, OR an artist will be in a great mood and offer the class at half price. So This VAMP has learned to wait, one of my online stores has offered me free shipping 3 times now (thumbs UP) and many more are ofering items where shipping is greatly discounted, and One of my favorite artist let me make monthly payments! We LUST after that which we think we cannot have, but we will only lust after some other thing, its a disease that even us vampires can catch!! Take your time friends! its supply and demand, if they cant sell it...we get it alot cheaper.... Vampire-OUT! see you on the flip side!!

Ok, so WOW, its been quite some time since I posted here, YES, your friendly neighborhood vampire is BACK! I have been quite busy, My Blood is somewhat thicker than it used to be, and so is my skin. I am a vampire that ages.....imagine that if you will. I have seen more than my share of bad days-yeah? but they are desired because they can only be followed by good ones, like a rainbow after the storm. My life has so many twists and turns, all My wrinkles are earned, none are borrowed! I have been following some of the most interestin people ( to me any way) such as Klair Rhomany who lives in England, and Christy Sobolewski in Florida, they do Vlogs, I may try that one of these days! I have been making REAL projects with my HANDS! I make art journals, and Scrapbooks, and Paintings, OH MY!! haha! I enjoy life, I am finally letting go as best I can, of all expectations! It's taken me almost 50 years to realize that things will usually be lacking if you are expecting. CHEW on that, its true! I will enjoy to the best of my ability, every day...every second that I have, ESPECIALLY if I am laughing!! I have started drawing again, mostly in my art Journal, and some are quite good, mostly because i didnt try to "make" them become what I thought they should be. So I will Try and post here every night. Maybe even start "vlogging" but I have to overcome camera shyness or insecurities yeah? anyway, here is one of the things I live by: Mad Hatter : Have I gone Mad?
